New & Improved Features
A Faster Start Workout Flow - All in One Screen
A redesigned workout experience that’s cleaner, faster, and easier to use mid-session. Everything from exercise cards and checkmarks is now accessible through a streamlined vertical layout with a floating toolbar and improved workout caching — so you can customize, track the progress of your workout, and finish workouts with fewer taps, zero friction, and no loss of progress on incomplete sessions. Your warm-ups and conditioning screens will still require selecting Next to move between Warm-Ups, Workout, Conditioning. All your progress will be saved within the current screen.
From the Start Workout screen, you can also expand exercise cards to:
- Log reps and sets
- See substitutions
- View weights used in your last workout
Stay focused on what’s ahead and train more intentionally.
Updated Workout Settings
Workout Settings have moved to the top-right corner of your workout screen (gear icon). Everything you need is accessible without leaving your workout.
From here, you can:
- Customize your workout
- Rewatch Coach’s Notes videos
- Export or share your workout
- Switch units (KG ↔ LBS)
- Adjust timers
-
End your workout
Autofill & One-Tap Completion
While the autofill feature has previously been released, logging your workout is now quicker than ever. You can mark a workout as done, even without expanding the card if you choose to quickly get through the workout.
- Autofill helps pre-fill weights and data
- Mark exercises as Done with a single tap
Note: You will still need to expand the card to log weights if you are logging ascending sets or Training Max increases.
New Floating Toolbar
No more digging through menus mid-set. During your workout, a floating toolbar gives you quick access to features you're already familiar with:
- Workout customization
- Your Journal
- Timers & rest periods
- Stopwatch tools
Stopwatch & Timer Updates: Updated to be more reliable, more responsive, and easier to control — so your timing works with your workout, not against it. Both the stopwatch and timer can now be used and running in the background while interacting with the rest of the app, and can be adjusted on the fly.
Live Activities & Notifications
Your workout can now stay visible beyond the app.
Follow your workout in real time right from your lock screen. Perfect for staying locked in while life happens around you - or when trying to stay off your phone while in the gym (goodbye, doom scrolling!!).
Exercise Snacks: Movement on Your Terms
Short, effective exercises designed to fit into busy days — because consistency beats perfection. Swipe to shuffle, and add filters to find the perfect workout for when you don't have time for a whole 'meal'. Also, Create Snack Reminders – Set gentle nudges to move, stretch, or reset throughout the day.
You can:
- Do a quick workout without starting your main program
- Move your body even on busy or low-energy days
- Add movement without committing to a full session
